How To Use
How To Use
Follow these simple steps for crisp, professional results:
- Prep – Make sure your surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Painted surfaces should be fully cured.
- Secure – Position the stencil and fix firmly with low-tack tape or stencil adhesive to prevent shifting.
- Load brush/roller – Dip lightly into paint, then dab or roll off excess onto kitchen paper. Less paint = sharper lines.
- Apply – Build up colour with light, tapping or swirling motions (brush) or gentle rolling (roller). Avoid heavy pressure to prevent bleed-through.
- Lift – Remove stencil carefully while paint is still slightly tacky for the cleanest edge.
- Clean – Wash straight after use with warm soapy water. Dry flat before storing.

- Furniture:
Add motifs to drawer fronts, sides, runners, cabinet doors, and tabletops for hidden or statement detail. - Borders & Panels:
Frame doors, shelves, or tabletops with repeating designs to mimic inlay or marquetry. - Under Hardware:
Use smaller stencils as backplates behind knobs, handles, or keyholes for a refined finish. - Walls & Floors:
Tile repeats for feature walls, splashback-style effects, stair risers, or floor “rugs.” - Crafts & Fabric:
Print onto cushions, curtains, or bags (use fabric medium + heat-set). Great for signage and décor too. - Raised Effects:
Apply embossing paste, gilding wax, or textured paint through the stencil for a dimensional look.
